STAWA University is located on the continent of Africa, in the country of East Uganda, and in the city of Kampala. STAWA is acronym for Study Teach and Work Abroad. Inquiries about opportunities to connect with STAWA University globally are welcomed.
I have been blessed to have the opportunity to teach an English/Writing class at STAWA University each semester since 2012. The students that I teach have proven to be endowed with above average creative, academic skills and abilities. For this reason, I have published their writings on this website.
On these pages you can read about the lives of Ugandan students, and you can read creative poems and essays written by the students. The words in these writings speak volumes about education in Africa in particular and Uganda specifically.
3 H Creative Writing
1. Heart--Begin in your heart; what is your passion?
2. Head--Develop in your head; how will you proceed? What will you writing look like?
3. Hand--Produce with your hand; how will you get others to read your writing?
